Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the business using Aura) and Huzaib Wadoo, trading as Aura, based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia ("Aura", "I", "me"). By starting a free trial or paying for a plan, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, WhatsApp me on +60 16-814 9934 or email huzaibqayoom@gmail.com before you sign up.
1. The service
Aura provides, depending on your plan:
- an AI receptionist ("chatbot") that answers your customers' questions, shares your prices and books appointments, based on information you provide;
- a website for your business, including hosting and SSL;
- setup, training of the receptionist on your business, and ongoing updates.
The plans, prices and what each includes are shown on the price list. The price list in force when you sign up applies until I give you at least 30 days' written notice of a change.
2. Free trial
New customers get 3 days free. You can stop at any time during the trial and pay nothing. If you choose to continue, billing starts after the trial ends. A one-time setup fee, where your plan has one, is only payable once you have approved your website.
3. Payment
- Monthly fees are billed in advance in Malaysian ringgit (RM).
- Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date, by bank transfer, DuitNow or another method we agree on.
- If a payment is more than 14 days late, I may pause the service after telling you in writing. It is switched back on once the balance is paid.
4. No contract and cancelling
There is no minimum term. You can cancel any time by telling me in writing (WhatsApp or email is fine) before your next billing date. The service runs until the end of the period you have paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
5. What you own
- Your domain is registered in your name, or transferred to you on request.
- Your content (text, photos, logos, price lists) stays yours. You give me permission to use it only to provide the service.
- Your customer data (enquiries, bookings, contact details) belongs to you. You can ask for an export at any time, and it is deleted within 30 days of cancellation unless you ask me to keep it.
- The Aura software itself, including the receptionist and website templates, remains mine. You may use it for as long as your plan is active.
6. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about your services, prices, hours and policies, and tell me when it changes.
- Make sure you are allowed to use the content you give me.
- Don't use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
- If you run a clinic or other regulated business, make sure what the receptionist says follows the rules of your profession. Tell me anything it must never say.
7. What the AI receptionist can and can't do
The receptionist answers from the information you provide and passes customers to you on WhatsApp when it can't help. Like any automated system, it can occasionally misunderstand a question or give an incomplete answer. It does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and it should not be relied on for emergencies. You stay responsible for the services you provide to your customers. If you spot a wrong answer, tell me and I'll correct it the same working day.
8. Availability and support
I aim to keep the service available around the clock and to reply to support messages within one working day (same day for Growth). Planned maintenance is done outside business hours where possible. Hosting and AI providers can occasionally have outages that are outside my control.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, my total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid me in that period. I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost bookings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.
10. Privacy
How personal data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy. Where I process your customers' personal data on your behalf, I do so only to provide the service and in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
11. Changes to these terms
If I change these terms, I'll tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. We'll try to settle any disagreement by talking first. If that doesn't work, the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
